Cabana has served in a variety of roles, from operational policing to international anti-corruption investigations, earning accolades for his professionalism and dedication. S/Sgt. Cabana’s expertise in judicial authorizations and international cooperation has made him a sought-after instructor and mentor across the RCMP. His work on anti-corruption and money laundering cases, especially Project Cendrier and Project Collecteur. demonstrated his ability to lead complex investigations and manage and motivate other officers, directly contributing to the success of high-profile cases, and his efforts were recognized with the Coronation Medal of King Charles III in 2025. Beyond his operational achievements, S/Sgt. Cabana is known for his compassion and support for colleagues.
